Prospective Member Welcome to the Gateway Riders BMW Club website!

Please consider this letter a personal invitation to consider joining our club of BMW motorcycle owners and enthusiasts. Our club is a not for profit organization made up of numerous people from all walks of life from around the Metro-Area. All of which I'm sure you will enjoy meeting and will in time find most interesting.

The club was formed in 1972 on some very basic ideals which still prevail today. Our goals are providing an opportunity for companionship of like minded people centered around the BMW motorcycle and it's mystique. We like to keep a well-balanced program of activities for all club members and create an atmosphere of relaxation, fun and enjoyment. So no matter what your favorite type of activity, we are sure you will find many things and people to interest you upon joining our club.

In order to be eligible to become a member of the Gateway Riders, we ask that you attend one of our monthly general meetings, which are normally the third Wednesday of each month. Also, you are expected to attend one of our scheduled rides on you motorcycle. You will then be voted on by the general membership at the next general meeting after which you have fulfilled the qualifications. (New members will receive a personalized name tag, enameled pin, embroidered patch & vinyl decal. In addition to this "hardware", you also get a: Constitution/By-laws & Activity/Mileage contest rules and information.)

Please complete the application form (or download a document version) and return it to me. I will also send the next newsletter and follow up with a phone call after receiving your application.
Membership Fees: Primary $14.00/yr., Spouse or dependent $7.00/yr.
After June; $7.00 & $3.50 respectively.
Initiation fee: $5.00 for each set of name badge, enameled pin, embroidered patch and a vinyl decal.
{NO fees are required until after your approval by the membership}
