Note: The ride starting points depend on the direction we are going. See the list below:

NORTH: The west side of the Home Depot parking lot, between New Halls Ferry & Old Halls Ferry, south side of I270 in North County. NOTE: We used to meet on the east side of the lot.

SOUTH: The McStop at Peveley (Exit 180 off I55 at Z) OR the Dierburg’s Mall on Hwy 21, just south of I270 (on the L/H side at the first light).

WEST: The Quick Trip off I70 by I370 at Mid Rivers Mall (on the north side in St. Peters) OR the BP (Amoco) just south of Hwy. 40 (I64) on Long Road, OR the MotoMart, on Hwy. 141, just north of I44.

EAST: The Dierburg’s or Home Depot – See above.

Shop Rides: Forever Endeavor has shop rides every third Saturday of the month, typically meet at 8:00 / leave 8:15 (next rides are January 21& February 18), followed by a hearty breakfast. Meet at 21 East 5th Street, Eureka, MO. 63025 636-938-7336 Check first because of the weather and time of year.

Gateway BMW typically has shop rides the third Sunday of the month. However, many are GS related so check their website http://www.gatewaybmw.com for announcements of the ride type, changes in dates, and meeting places. Stop by for donuts and coffee at 8:30. The ride starts at 9’ish. For info, call 314-427-9090. Check first because of the weather and time of year.

Dec. 10: Gateway BMW is having their Christmas Open House. Great food by Liz Huff, door prizes, and great deals on bikes courtesy of Honz. Donelson’s open house is Dec. 24.

* Dec. 31: New Year’s Eve Party – Celebrate 2012 with Susan Anderson and Bill Haugen; 207 Chianti Ct., (in Riverwood Estates, off of Howdershell in Florissant). See the map on the left below. 314-831-7363 - Show up at 8 pm (or later) and bring your favorite snacks; beer and soda provided along with champagne at Midnight. Please stay home if you are sick.

* Jan. 1: New Year’s Ride (weather permitting): Meet at the Quick Trip in St. Peters, off I70 at Mid Rivers at 10 / Leave 10:30. Details worked out at the New Year’s Eve Party. If it is really cold or bad weather the group ride will be cancelled but Jeff will give anyone credit for any ride they take on New Year’s Day; just let him know. Jeff Ackerman 314-838-2161

* Jan. 18: Wednesday General Meeting at Spazio’s in the Comfort Inn at 12031 Lackland Road. Exit Page at Lackland Rd. Arrive no later than 6:30 if you plan on eating. Meeting starts at 7:30 sharp.

* Jan 28: Motorcycle Ice Races at the St Charles Family Arena. Meet at 5:30 PM at the Cracker Barrel at 901 Fairlane Road, St. Charles. This is on the south side of I70 at the 5th street exit. If not, meet at the ticket windows at Family Arena at 7 PM.

* Jan. 28/29: Blue Nose Campout at Pierre Marquette park (get reservations early if you want a cabin or to stay in the Lodge; 618-786-3323); Bring jumper cables for the new BMW’s. Jim Shaw (314-521-0341). Feb. 25/26 is the alternate if the weather is really bad (not just a little cold).

* Feb. 5: Super Bowl Party with Bill and Judy; Come see the house renovations. Bring snacks and your favorite beverage. Note: The Motorcycle Show isn’t coming to St. Louis this year. The closest location will be in Chicago on Feb. 10-12. Stay tuned to see if Gateway BMW takes a group up like a couple years ago.

Feb. 14: No Valentine’s Day party this year. Phil Sulfstede is hosting a St. Patrick’s Day party instead.
